2010 Scholarship Application
CommunityCSBG is primarily funded through the Community Services Block Grant, the federal program that was originally created by the Economic Opportunity Act to respond to poverty needs in local communities. As a poverty response program, Community Services identifies needs and establishes anti-poverty programs in Boone and Winnebago Counties annually. Community Services staff are also deeply involved in a variety of community projects that address issues of persons in poverty that are not directly funded through CSBG.
