Community Action Programs

Community Services Programs are designed to create opportunities for people and neighborhoods facing challenges related to the conditions of poverty. Programs are designed to support self sufficiency and improve the conditions in which people live.

Homeless Prevention

Rental and mortgage payment assistance program for individuals with income experiencing a temporary crisis beyond their control. 

Emergency Assistance

Assistance to individuals in crisis beyond their control such as car repairs for working persons and other emergency needs.

Community Gardens

Support for neighborhood garden projects ensuring residents have access to fresh, nutritious food that supports good health and builds strong neighborhoods. 

Skills Training

Assistance in a high demand job that will lead to livable wage.

Scholarships

Assistance to qualified students to be applied to a State of Illinois post-secondary accredited schools.
