Why do you send a fire truck with an ambulance to a medical call?

Our main concern in any medical emergency is to provide support as quickly as possible. All fire suppression companies are equipped with at least one ALS-certified personnel. Because there are only 7 ambulances to cover the city, by sending a fire truck we can ensure that Advanced Life Support is on the scene in a timely manner.
