NEW UPDATED: Important Notice about Bid/RFP response process due to COVID-19 – Please Read
In response to COVID-19 concerns, effective Friday November 20th, the City of Rockford will be closing public access to City Hall except by appointment. Central Services encourages all vendors responding to requests for proposals or bids to mail their responses. However, on scheduled bid opening dates, we will open City Hall doors and allow vendors to turn in bids 15 minutes prior to bid opening time and be present for bid opening while practicing social distancing. For those not in attendance, we will post the bid tabulation to website as soon as possible after the opening. If you have any questions, please contact us at [email protected]
To comply with the Governor’s Executive Order and to protect employees and visitors, effective May 1, 2020, all vendors attending a bid opening must wear a face covering that covers the mouth and nose while in City Hall.
Vendors may submit bids without face coverings, but may not enter the building without complying. Bid tabulations will be posted online as quickly as possible.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
The City of Rockford is pleased to announce the implementation of a new software that will provide better services to all of our vendors. This software includes improvements for online bidding available now and will incorporate purchase orders delivery, viewing of prior purchase orders, and payment activities at a later time. In order for your business to take advantage of the efficiencies this new software offers, a business registration will need to be completed. During the registration process it is important to provide accurate and up to date information along with the most current W9. Visit the links below to complete registration.
