Private Property Tree Removal Program
The City of Rockford has launched a new program to help address dead and dying trees on private property.
The program provides a no-interest loan, to be repaid on the resident’s water bill, for the removal of trees deemed a hazard by the City’s Forestry Division. The program is available for residents with an annual income under $70,000, and only for owner-occupied property.
