Home Invasion

On 9/21/17 at 1531 hours Officers responded to 3400 Block of Elm St. for a Home Invasion. Upon Officers located the Victim who was battered.  The Victim was sitting on the front enclosed porch of his residence when three Suspects approached him.  The Suspects kicked open the door leading onto the porch and battered him.  While being battered the Victim entered his residence where all three Suspects followed and continued to batter him.  The Suspects then pushed the Victim down the stairs of the residence.  The Victim was able to contact the Police then the Suspects fled the area west bound on foot.  The Victim was transported to a local Hospital and was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The Suspects were described as follows:

Suspect 1 – Black Male, 23 years old, 5’11”, 160 lbs, no shirt

Suspect 2 – Black Male, 6’0”, 150 lbs, 17 years old, wearing blue jeans and no shirt

Suspect 3 – White Male, 6’2”, 165 lbs, 19 years old, wearing no shirt

Aggravated Battery With Knife

On 9/20/17 @ 2307 Hrs. Officer responded to 3000 block of Auburn St for a stabbing. Upon arrival Officers located the Victim and the Suspect near the scene.  The Victim suffered a cut to the front of his face.  The Victim advised he was walking home and cut through a field when he was approached by the Suspect who cut him in the face.  The Victim then beat up the Suspect and walked away when the police located him.  Both the Suspect and the Victim were taken a local Hospital where they were treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Armed Robbery To Citizen

On 9-20-17 at approximately 9:05pm two individuals were exiting Walgreen’s and entering their vehicle when they were approached by a subject who displayed a black handgun and demanded their belongings.  He obtained purses from both victims them ran southbound in the alley.

 

The suspect was described as a black male in his 20s or 30s, short hair, 6’0″ tall, medium build, wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans.  The victims were not injured during the incident.  Anyone with information is asked to contact the Rockford Police or Winnebago County Crime Stoppers.
