Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm

On Tuesday, May 21st, 2019 at about 12:00 a.m. Rockford Police Officers were dispatched to the area of 1300 Cunningham St. reference numerous calls of shots fired.  Officers located a residence struck twice by gunfire.  No injuries were reported.  No suspect description.

Armed Robbery to a Citizen

On Saturday May 18th, 2019 at approximately 10:56 pm Rockford Police Officers were dispatched to the area of 800 Concord Ave. reference an armed robbery to a citizen.  The victim advised he was at 800 Concord Ave. when he was approached by a subject with a handgun and a 2nd subject with a baseball bat demanding property.  The victim advised he was struck by the suspect with a handgun.  The victim was able to flee the scene and called 911.  Suspects fled the area on foot.  Victim was transported to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Suspect 1 – Juvenile black male, gray hoodie, dark jeans armed with a handgun.

Suspect 2 – Juvenile black male, unknown clothing armed with a baseball bat.

Aggravated Battery with a Firearm 300 Kent St

On Sunday, May 5th, at around 1:35 A.M., a Rockford man was the victim of an Aggravated Battery with a Firearm when he was struck by a gunshot.  The victim was transported via ambulance to a local hospital for treatment of a non-life-threatening wound, and was being held at the hospital for observation.  There was no Suspect description available at the time of this entry.
