11th Street Corridor Improvements
The 11th Street Corridor is a main thoroughfare on the south side of Rockford and is in dire need of roadway, pedestrian and bicycle improvements. Furthermore, the overhead utilities and outdated intersection designs have made it aesthetically undesirable. The City is currently studying the corridor to determine what type of improvements can be made to benefit all the various land uses along this route. Once the study is completed, the City will implement its recommendations.
