Evacuation Drills

In accordance with School Safety Drill Act PA-094-0600 (HB 2693) and Multi-Hazard Emergency Planning for Illinois Schools Training Project, each school is required to hold a minimum of 3 school evacuation drills each academic year.

No, later than September 15th, each school administrator or designee must contact the local Fire Department and propose 4 available dates for the drill.

The Fire Department may choose any of the 4 available dates for the drill.

  • School Name
  • School Administrator/Contact Person
  • School Address
  • School Phone Number
  • After-hours emergency contact name and phone numbers (minimum of 2 separate people)
  • 4 proposed dates for the drill
